Our Story
Helen's Academy (헬렌스 아카데미, 海伦学习能力开发中心), also known as KAEC (Korean-American Education Center) is a well known supplementary education center serving the Asian-American community and others in Cheltenham, PA. We originally founded KAEC to assist students new to the United States to successfully transition into the American educational system.
As our reputation has grown, we have expanded our program to include wide variety of offerings. Over the last 20 years, we have helped thousands of (mainly) Asian-American learners to develop their unique potential in classes ranging from beginning math and elementary phonics through advanced placement classes, SAT and college tutoring.
Our Kids Excel
Our reputation has grown to include students from non-Asian communities who seek high quality supplemental learning as word travels from our kids to their non-Asian classmates. We hope our new location in Elkins Park Square will accommodate our learners and teachers in a better facility and will be more convenient for parents as well.
